Cookie Policy

Which cookies Meridian Payments needs and how users can control them.

Version 1.0Updated August 20, 2026

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of data stored by a browser to maintain sessions, preferences, and security. Similar technologies may include local storage and operational request identifiers.

2. Categories

CategoryPurposeStatus
Strictly necessarySign-in, refresh session, CSRF protection, securityAlways active
PreferencesSelected interface languageSaved by choice
AnalyticsQuality and performance measurementNot used without a separate decision
MarketingAdvertising and cross-site trackingNot used

3. Authentication cookies

The dashboard uses secure HttpOnly cookies for access and refresh sessions and a separate CSRF token. They are necessary for sign-in and request-forgery protection. Disabling them prevents authentication.

4. Retention

Session cookies expire when the session ends or reaches its configured limit. Language preferences may last longer. Exact periods follow the Service’s technical configuration and are reviewed whenever it changes.

5. Controls

You may delete or block cookies in browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the dashboard and protected actions. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, separate consent will be requested before they are set.

6. Updates

Categories are updated whenever the underlying technologies change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this document.
